Powerful Anti-Aging Vitamin You Should Be Taking

As a health and wellness expert, I receive many questions covering a broad range of health topics. Hands down, the most frequently asked about topic…anti-aging!

Fortunately, there’s something we all can do about aging from a nutritional standpoint. Today, I’ll address the most common question I hear, “what’s the best anti-aging vitamin?”

Chronological Age vs. Biological Age

Aging is inevitable, but there are two ways to understand it and many ways to influence it!

1) Chronological age

Chronological age refers to the amount of time that you’re living. For instance, my chronological age right now is 43 years. Of course, you can’t stop your chronological age from increasing. It advances as each second, each day, and each year passes.

2) Biological age

Also referred to as physiological age, biological age refers to how old you seem and is greatly influenced by lifestyle factors (diet, sleep, exercise, etc.)

The great news is you can help reverse your biological age!

You see, there is a certain average condition that your body – its cells, tissues and organs – is expected to be in at each stage of your life. This is your biological age. If you’re doing well, your biological age will be less than your chronological age. This means your body is in better shape than expected for your age. On the flip side, if you need to improve your health and lifestyle, your biological age may be greater than your chronological age.

Do you know someone who seems physically older or more aged than they should be for their actual (chronological) age? Maybe their skin looks older, they aren’t agile, they get sick a lot, or they have very poor posture? This is an example of what it looks like when biological age exceeds chronological age.

So, let’s get down to what everyone wants to know – what can be done to help reverse your biological age?

Anti-aging Antioxidant Power

If you want to look and feel younger you must feed your body proper nutrition. A major part of this strategy is getting plenty of antioxidants from fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants are absolutely necessary to fight the effects of aging! They neutralize free radicals and help repair the damage they cause.

Here’s the quick science behind how free radicals do their dirty work…

Free radicals are molecules that have an unpaired electron. This is a problem because they are highly reactive in the search to pair up electrons. You can think of them as “electron hungry” and eager to “steal” an electron from another molecule. This stealing of electrons results in oxidation which leaves other molecules damaged or unstable, creating more free radicals.

When free radicals keep spreading in a chain reaction, it causes cell damage that leads to physically feeling and looking unwell/older. This is exactly why antioxidants are so crucial to feeling and looking younger, and achieving long-term health.

The bottom line …your biological age is accelerated by free radical damage.

What Causes Free Radicals?

A lot of what you see or experience as aging is the cumulative effects of free radical damage.

You can’t possibly overdose on antioxidants, as your body needs a constant army of them to combat free radicals that infiltrate our health daily.

Free radicals come from:

  1. Poor diet (sugar, unhealthy fat, processed foods)
  2. Air Pollution
  3. Industrial chemicals
  4. Cigarette smoke/vaping
  5. Alcohol
  6. Medical radiation (X-rays)
  7. Ultraviolet radiation
  8. Environmental substances (asbestos and toxic gases)

So, Which is the Most Effective Anti-aging Vitamin?

Here’s the answer you’ve been waiting for…in my expert opinion, vitamin E is the most important antioxidant to combat the effects of aging! All antioxidants are good, but E wears the crown!

Vitamin E benefits include:

  • Cell protection – Its fat-soluble nature helps protect your cells (cell membranes are      composed of and rely on fat to function properly)
  • Reduced risk for disease – especially cancer, heart attack and stroke.
  • Improves skin – fights sagging, wrinkles, dryness.
  • Increases immunity – (illness, infections, faster recovery time.
  • Supports nervous and muscular system – coordination, circulation, heartbeat.
  • Balances hormones – weight control, energy, reproduction.

Where Can You Get Vitamin E?

The best vitamin E rich foods to have in your diet are:

Supplements to the Rescue

If your lifestyle doesn’t always allow you to eat the key fruits and vegetables that contain ample amounts of vitamin E – or when you do, they’re not always organic – you may want to consider supplementing your diet.

If you’re looking for a great vitamin E supplement that won’t break the bank, try my product called Full Spectrum Vitamin E. I gave it that name because it contains all eight vitamin E compounds.

That’s right, vitamin E is not just one thing! There are actually eight compounds that make up vitamin E!

If you read this supplement label, you’ll understand what a complete vitamin E will contain. When compared with other vitamin E supplements on the market, you’ll see that most others contain only one to four of those vitamin E compounds, rather than all eight.

So, invest wisely in a vitamin E supplement that provides full support. With proper nutrition and supplementation, you will boost your anti-aging defenses!

Let’s get to it and make sure that you and I are younger the next time we meet.

"I have taken vitamin E most of my adult life - from my 20's. I'm now 39. healthy as a horse. Good product for the money."
